CBPrep - First Day At School - Jan '13
Here are some photos of the first day of the First Term of 2013 at Camps Bay Prep School, the first day for many who will go right through to Matric at the three Camps Bay Schools!

CBPrep - Welcome to Caron Thomas - Oct '12
Camps Bay Preparatory School welcomes Caron Thomas onto the staff, in the post of School Secretary. Caron is taking over from Hildegarde van der Merwe, who served in the position for many years and retired at the end of the Third Term.
Caron arrives with an impressive CV. She served in a church as Secretary and as the Children's Church Director for ten years. She was Secretary at the Leliebloem Children’s Home in Belgravia Road in Athlone. She was Secretary at Bishops' Preparatory School. She was the Player Liaison Officer for the 2011 Gary Player Invitational Fundraiser Golfing Tournament. Most recently, she was the Principal's P.A. at Sea Point High School before joining us at Camps Bay Prep.
She loves walking, the mountains and the sea. What she loves best is “to be in an environment where I can brighten up the lives of children".
Clearly, the very demanding position of School Secretary at Camps Bay Prep is in good hands!

CBPrep - Santa's Shoebox - Oct '12
Santa's Shoebox is a charity project in which Camps Bay Preparatory School participates, where parents fill and gift-wrap a shoebox with toys and goodies. These shoeboxes are then distributed to children in disadvantaged circumstances as a special Christmas boost. The official website is here.
This year, Camps Bay Preparatory School prepared 105 such boxes. Well done! Grateful thanks to all the parents who participated, and to Nina Sardo and Alison Templar who managed the project.

CBPrep - Farewell Function for Mrs van der Merwe - 27 Sep '12
On Thursday 27 September, Camps Bay Prep School held an afternoon function to say farewell to Mrs Hildegarde van der Merwe, our beloved School Secretary for so many years.
